LE BON NOSH IS THE WINNER OF THE AIA GEORGIA 2023 HONOR AWARD FOR INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE

Brink Design provided Architectural Services and project management for this 6,500 SF high-end restaurant. This project was executed in coordination with the interior designer, owner, and building property owner within an existing building.

Le Bon Nosh is a European-influenced cafe and market meant to encourage and showcase community gathering. The aroma of the coffee bar at the entrance sets the tone for the space. Inside, an active teaching kitchen anchors the center, flanked on one side by a market cafe with communal tables, and a formal, more intimate dining room with a wine bar on the other. The private dining area of the mezzanine is accented by hand-painted wallpaper and features a quiet balcony overlooking a side street. The entire space is wrapped with warm and carefully detailed wood storefronts. The existing space was a pair of individual tenant spaces with different floor levels. The parking deck is both above and below the space. The kitchen and added mezzanine above were carefully coordinated between all disciplines. The design of Le Bon Nosh was a true collaboration between the entire team working to execute the vision of the owner.

Andrew Haney was the project lead for Brink Design. Our responsibilities included project management, managing project staffing, concept visualization, managing production of technical construction detailing, producing the project manual and specifications, coordinating with the full project team including Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Low Voltage, and Plumbing Engineers, the landlords’ representatives, and owner’s consultants and construction team, and full construction administration.

Brink Design applied its expertise in organization and project management, advanced understanding of building science, documentation, and BIM, to make this project a success.
