Bridget Ellgass’ role on the project as a Project Architect was to provide existing facilities assessment for the main terminal, lead design teams for components of the overall design, attend and coordinate owner meetings, keep records of communications and documentation for the team of over 350 designers and consultants.

This project upgrades and modernizes the existing domestic terminal interior and exterior as well as acting an iconic look for the Atlanta Airport. The team completed traffic studies, overall site design analysis, exterior renovations, exterior canopy, Fire Life Safety analysis, Code analysis, Wind tunnel analysis, interior design, ticketing counter design, security checkpoint, MEP, Structural coordination, Baggage systems relocation, and overall design coordination. A detailed schedule and estimate process was provided for the renovations as well as a thorough review of the exciting buildings and design.
